The Trade Parliament was an international diplomatic and economic institution which existed between the First and Second Intercontinental Wars. Established by the Treaty of Sovdu after the First War to regulate international trade and administer mineral extraction rights in Ijeida and Jirenes (territory in dispute during the war), the Trade Parliament was widely criticized for extending rights to the Jirenes Empire while curtailing those of other powers. At the time of its abolition by the Treaty of the Turning Lands it was widely regarded as an organ of the Empire no longer performing its initial purpose.
